Orlando Hotel
Orlando, Florida
RCCo has entered into an agreement with a Developer to manage the
design and provide construction management services, including
pre-development, preconstruction phase, and construction phase
services, for a 4-1/2 Star $150MM high-rise hotel and branded
residence project in Orlando. All work will be managed out of the
RCCo Tampa office, with construction scheduled to begin in the
spring of 2009.
Project Experience
Trump Tower Tampa
Tampa, Florida
Total construction budget of $185MM. Responsible for complete
oversight of preconstruction and construction phase services for 52
story, 190 unit condominium in downtown Tampa on the Hillsborough
River. Project consists of 42 floors of residential units, one
amenity level, and nine floors of parking.
Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Stadium
Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania
Project Executive responsible for all construction design phase
activities and construction operations, establish and oversee bid
management and procurement processes, manage day to day construction
operations for this new $216MM major league baseball stadium. At
the time, this project was one of the first professional sports
projects in the industry which provided an “at-risk
Design-Construction Manager” delivery method, where I served as the
Project Executive for Dick/Barton Malow, the joint venture
partnership established to serve as the Design/Construction Manager
for the project. The project was completed on budget and within a
22-month construction schedule, which, at the time, was one of the
shortest duration’s in which a professional baseball or football
stadium of it’s size, had been constructed.
Credit Card Call Center
Jacksonville, Florida
As Project Executive, responsible for oversight of all
preconstruction, procurement, and construction activities for a
530,000 sf Regional Credit Card Call Center. Construction cost
totaled $73MM, with a construction duration of 14 months.
Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena
Jacksonville, Florida
Project
Executive responsible for oversight of preconstruction and
construction phase operations for the new $130MM 15,000 seat
entertainment and sports arena for the City of Jacksonville.
Participated in contract negotiations, developed comprehensive
procurement process to meet City of Jacksonville procurement
policies and M/WBE goals, developed construction staffing plan, and
was responsible for all administrative and field operations for the
project. Project was constructed in 19 months.

Construction Value Responsible for initial scheduling, budgeting,
bid management, organization of design and construction teams,
establishing cost control systems, and managing the day to day
operations of the project.
Kazakstan and Moscow, Russia:
$450M Construction Value
Select design team, provide cost
estimate, schedule and quality assurance plan for a 1,500 uit
housing camp for a Chevron Oil Company joint venture with the
Kazakhstan government.
Tyumen, Russia; Nizny Novgorod,
Russia
Responsible for two (2) ea. 300+/- room Hyatt operated
hotel projects to service the regional oil and gas industry for
western ex-patriots in western Siberia. Responsible for developing
and negotiating contracts with international hotel flag, and design
and engineering consultants to develop program and design documents
for both projects. Projects did not move forward because of lack of
equity provided by Russian investors. Plan was to provide U.S.
management and hire local talent for technology transfer to local
Russian industry with financing through the World Bank.
London,
England
Provided Construction Management for a U.S./European
hotel operator in the development and construction of a five (5)
star hotel in the City of London. Imported U.S. construction
management technology and systems to London to hire and develop a
design-build team, and incorporate U.S. design and construction
philosophies on this US$180MM hotel project.
